Going Deeper

Humanity has been made in the image of  the One, True God. God is One, and three-in-one; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. There is no division in the three-in-one. Yet there is uniqueness amongst the complete union.

The image of humanity was marred in the “Adam’s Sin” in the Garden of Eden, however we remain made in the image of God.  The Sin caused our spirit’s death and complete separation from life in God. Therefore outside of life in Christ and the renewal of the Holy Spirit; the Flesh (which is our sin nature) rules our life. (Our Divine nature must be made alive by the Holy Spirit of Jesus)  Unless we die with Christ, we live for the Flesh.

We are completely  unable to clean or redeem our Flesh Nature. It must die or it will rule. Jesus Christ gave his life, that Humanity might have a way for the flesh to die and the spirit to be born from above. In Christ alone can the flesh be crucified.

In our confession that our lives are dead to this world and alive only in Christ. The Holy Spirit fills our spirit, soul & body, cleansing and forgiving us from all unrighteousness.

Being made alive through the Spirit of Christ we live unto the the Will of God in the service of the King.   Thus our journey with Christ has only begun, yet our salvation has been made complete.  In Christ, we now take up our cross, and deny ourselves, and follow him.

God is Spirit & our spirit is designed to connect with God.

Until we become spirit directed  – the world and our flesh nature are ruling our lives.  Our Spirit, Soul & Body remain united and integrated in this life. The heart is the seat or center of all of life. (Our conscience, will, and heart organ are pierced/cut as we are made alive by the Spirit.) While each aspect of our life has unique characteristics the divisions here are for clarity, not to demonstrate the possibility of compartmentalization.

Spirit is our conscience, intuition, & communion.

Conscience is the free-flowing experience of our spirit and the Holy Spirit. The Roots & Fruit of the Spirit are deposited and sealed in us and Manifestation Gifts are expressed through us by this means. John 16:8-9, 1 Cor. 12:7-11, Gal. 5, James 5

Intuition is to ask for wisdom, which begins with the fear of the Lord. The eyes of our hearts are opened to find direction and joy, calling us to walk in the ways of Jesus. Mobilization gifts are extended to us in this way. James 1:5, 3, Ephesians 1:17-19, 2:3, 4:1-13
Communion is the relational flow of energy between us and God. This renewal brings oneness and peace. In the redemption of our souls our values and character grow and become motivated the very heart of God. Romans 5, 12:1-9, Phil. 4:4-13

Body is our senses, bones, and organs.

·         Senses includes the 5 senses as the means of worldly engagement: hearing, seeing, smelling, tasting, and touching.

·         Bones includes the tissue, tendons, and marrow, and the blood it produces.

·         Organs are the mass or substance of the body from our skin to our each of the internal organs.

Soul is our mind, will, and emotion.

·         Mind holds our thoughts and memories, knowledge and ability. It must be renewed.

·         Will empowers and brings to the surface volition and choice . It is our will that is in conflict with God.  It is the soul which must be redeemed through death.

·         Emotion expresses our passions, feelings and desires.  Each person has a unique personality that is held in the soul.
